3000 homeless stil sleep in Paris and we are used to meeting them. I wanted to photograph not their face, that is to say their humanity, but the traces of their presence, that is to say what they sleep on, what ttey eat; how they decorate their makeshift habitats… It is also their despair and their dreams that appear here. Most of chosen photos are voluntarily strongly colored, almost beautiful, to oppose this brightness to their terrible reality but also to pay homage to the optimism I have often encountered.
